Ballina Stephenites

Ballina Stephenites is located in Mayo

Since Ballina Town Hall closed over 15 years ago, and the Parish Hall was converted into an enterprise activity, the Stephenites Clubhouse has become the pivotal centre in the community for all those activities which traditionally found a home in the aforementioned, but now extinct, halls. Currently they cater for Bingo, Drama, Darts, Cards, Boxing, Irish dancing, Table quizzes, Badminton, Squash, Keep fit, Treasure Hunts and the recently revived Christmas Panto.

They also endeavor to accommodate the local Girls Secondary School for such activities as Basketball training and Badminton blitzes. Indeed it is here that the spirit of volunteerism is most obvious in the community, where hundreds of volunteers still give freely of their time and talents every week in the pursuit of our excellence for the youths and entertainment for the elderly.
