Ballygalget GAC is the main focal point of this rural area on the Ards pensinsula. All activities within the local area are run at the clubs pitch or within the social club. These range from charity fundraisers, novel fun nights, irish dancing classes, ballroom dancing, health seminars and fitness classes (yoga, zumba etc) for players and non-players. They have also found that because of the rural location, people will prefer to use the club grounds and gym to exercise in a safe environment.
