Ballygunner

Ballygunner is located in Waterford

Since its foundation in 1954 Ballygunner Hurling Club has played a pivotal role in the local community.

The club continually encourages engagement in a variety of activities aimed at strengthening the relationship between the Club and the local community. One of these areas is to utilise the experience of coaching personnel and outside Agencies in addressing various social and equity issues including drug awareness and healthy lifestyle.

It has also been identified in Ballygunner Hurling Club that building based projects and new facilities can help foster a stronger sense of identity especially in local communities.  The focus of their new development is based on the aspirations and priorities of the local community with emphasis on connecting with the social fabric of the area.
