Bantry by its location down in the south western end of the country, Since the club’s foundation in 1887 it has been the main community based sporting outlet for the town. The club plays a pivotal role in the community as it has a positive influence on the young people of the town and its environs. These young people eventually grow into adult leaders in the community.
