Broadford Hurling Club

The Hurling Club is the principal local sporting and social organisation and has undoubtedly been the lifeblood of Broadford Parish for over a century.  Broadford has very active senior and minor clubs, catering for both men and women within the parish.  Virtually every family in the parish has been actively involved in the club at some stage during its history.  Broadford hurling is synonymous with commitment, loyalty, passion and “colour”.  The enthusiasm, which the club and its supporters bring to every game it plays, is a feature of the club.
