Castlegar GAA Club

Castlegar GAA Club is based in Castlegar, Co. Galway. By working with the Good Sheppard Parish they can provide coaches in the estates in the community. Another initiative they have already started is putting a coach into the schools in the parish and community. By doing this and working with Galway Coaching and Games all of the children from Junior infants to 6th class in the primary schools receive coaching from a qualified hurling coach once a week. Because of the long standing tradition, the club is at the centre of everything in Castlegar.
