Danesfort GAA Club

Danesfort is a rural club, and the club is the heart of the community. The club serves as a support unit for all of the members of the community through both good times and bad. The club isn’t just on the receiving end of goodwill, it also plays its pivotal part in supporting local developments such as the construction of the Homes for the Elderly in 2008.

The club organises catering for all major events that need support. The club also works closely with the parish committee to organise social events as well as the Parish lotto. Approximately 40% of the funding from our lotto is to support the parish and church developments. The club works closely and supports the annual parish Field Day, which is one of the major events in our community.
