The club plays pivotal role in the life of the community as was shown in the recent world record attempt. Well over a hundred people made themselves available as stewards on the day. It did not matter what people were asked to do it was done from people being prepared to do security at night to returning after the event to clean up. Both young and old (babies and old age pensioners) took part in the clean up. The club plays the main role in organising the community lotto.
