Ulster Bank GAA Force Events
Four Ulster Bank GAA Force events took place across the country over the October Bank Holiday Weekend 29th October and weekend of 5th November with local volunteers and UB representatives signed up nationwide to carry out improvements at GAA club facilities.
The first event was held by Munster Winner Lattin Cullen GAA Club in Tipperary on 29th October who won a €5,000 support package to improve their club facilities. Work on the day included cleaning, painting, mounting pictures and assembly of a flat pack kitchen on the day.
Other events held on 5th November included our National Winner St. Josephs GFC Ederney, Co. Fermanagh who won a support pack to the value of £22,000 - work at the club included laying new sods, pruning , weeding perimeter, power washing and sweeping up.
Connaught Winner Kilglass Gaels GAA Club in Rooskey winner of a €5,000 support pack got stuck into a bit of hard work at the club doing a general clean up, tiling, painting, plumbing and installing 2 new public toilet facilities.
Finally the Leinster Winner, St. Joseph's/OCB GAA Club in Dublin painted the downstairs of their premises.
Congratulations again to all our winning clubs and best wishes for the future. We hope the support packages you received will make a difference to your club facilities and the local community.
