Training Day Competition

ROI Terms & Conditions

  1. The Training Sessions are open to all residents in the Republic of Ireland between the ages of 5 and 18.
  2. The Promoter is Ulster Bank Ireland Limited, Georges Quay, Dublin 2 ("Ulster Bank").
  3. The promotion runs from Monday 2nd August until 12 noon Friday 10th September inclusive.
  4. There will be four winners of the competition. The prize entitles each winner to one training session from 11am to 3pm during the week of 26th - 30th October with one the below players with their class/team and in a local venue of their choice. Prize is subject to player and venue availability.

    • A training session with Seán Óg Ó hAilpín
    • A training session with Finian Hanley
    • A training session with Kieran Donaghy
    • A training session with Kevin McGuckin

    If any player or venue is not available on a particular date during the period mentioned above an alternative date during that week will be arranged. All four winning classes/teams will receive a GAA goodie bag. No cash or prize alternative will be given.

  5. The competition is not open to anyone employed by Ulster Bank Group (including contract workers), their families or anyone associated with the draw. In the event that an employee of Ulster Bank Group, their families or anyone associated with the draw wins the competition the prize will immediately become null and void and another winner will be selected from entrants.
  6. Entry is by answering the question, completing the application form and completing the tie breaker in no more than 10 words before 12 noon on Friday 10th September.
  7. Only one entry is permitted per person. The correct entry forms and the copyright in them are the property of the Promoter. Entries must be received by the Promoter by 12 noon Friday 10th September. Entries submitted after that time will not be accepted.
  8. Entries not submitted in accordance with these rules, delayed, damaged, incomplete, altered or illegible entries will be disqualified. No responsibility is accepted for entries lost, delayed or damaged for any reason whatsoever. Proof of posting will not be accepted as proof of entry.
  9. All prize details are subject to availability and any terms and conditions governing the elements of the prize. The Promoter is not responsible for any matter arising from or relating to the enjoyment of the prize.
  10. There will be four winners of the competition. On September 13th all, correct entries received will be put into a draw from which the winners will be chosen at random.
  11. The winners will be notified by telephone before 5pm on September 15th. Each winner agrees to take part in publicity in connection with this prize. The winners’ personal data will be used for the purposes of this competition only.
  12. In the event of any of the winning teams being under the age of 18, a parent or guardian must claim the prize on their behalf and written consent from all the team parents or guardians must be submitted for team members to participate in the coaching clinics. The Promoter reserves the right to suspend any child that causes disruption to the camp due to misbehaviour.
  13. The Ulster Bank Training Sessions are staffed by representatives who will implement the highest safety measures, however they cannot be held responsible for any damages, injuries or loss of possessions. We strongly recommend that all valuables be left at home.
  14. All winners must be available to travel between the dates/times detailed above. In the event you or your team are not able to travel on the above dates you may nominate a team to attend in your place, alternatively another date will be chosen subject to player availability.
  15. The Promoter reserves the right to alter, amend or terminate the promotion without prior notice.
